A 67‑year‑old cyclist was found dead on the Blichowo–Łubki road near Bulkowo on Sunday; rescue teams were unable to revive him, and the road remains closed until 10 p.m.
Scene and Rescue Operations
At about 16:30 on Sunday, a duty officer of the Płock command received a report of a unconscious man lying beside a bicycle on the Blichowo–Łubki road. Police patrol, medical rescue teams, and the Air Rescue Service helicopter “Ratownik 18” were dispatched to the scene.
Despite immediate resuscitation efforts, the 67‑year‑old cyclist was pronounced dead on site. The Blichowo–Łubki section of the road has been completely sealed off until 22:00.
Police Investigation
Police officers are conducting the investigation under supervision of a prosecutor. Preliminary indications suggest the cyclist may have been hit by a vehicle, and the circumstances of the event will be clarified during ongoing operations.
Road Closure Status
The Blichowo–Łubki road remains fully blocked until 10 p.m., with police maintaining the site and overseeing the investigation.
