Polish police arrested two Ukrainian nationals and seized five illegal gambling machines in Warsaw’s Włochy district during a recent operation.

Police officers from Warsaw’s Włochy district and the Division for Economic Crime and Corruption of the Warsaw III Police District coordinated the operation.

Targeted Investigation

Prior to the operation, the units identified premises where illegal gambling activities were suspected.

Arrests

Two Ukrainian men, aged 21 and 18, were detained and taken to the police headquarters. Officers secured five illegal gambling machines on the premises.

Charges

The men were charged with illegal operation of gambling games under Article 107 of the Fiscal Code.

Prosecution Oversight

The investigation is supervised by the Ochota District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Warsaw.
