On Sunday, October 19 at about 8:45 p.m., a BMW struck the wall of a residential building on Orzeszkowa Street near the intersection with Sadowa Street. The impact was strong enough to push part of the vehicle inside the house where a 53‑year‑old resident was treated and transported to hospital.

Police Assessment of Driver and Incident

According to early police findings, the 23‑year‑old driver lost control while heading toward the intersection and collided with the house. Police spokesperson Aleksandra Siemieniuk said the car was partially inside the building, the resident was taken to hospital with no life‑threatening danger, and breath‑alcohol testing showed the driver was sober.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Fire brigades from three units and police officers responded to the scene, secured the area while medical teams attended the injured. Police will continue to investigate the exact circumstances and causes of the crash.

Warning to Drivers

Officials urge drivers to adjust speed to road conditions and exercise caution. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
