Toyota Drives Straight into City Bus; Two Injured, Street Blocked

On October 20 at about 4:40 p.m., a Toyota Yaris collided with a municipal bus on Paderewski Street in Rembertów, leaving two people hospitalized and the street blocked.

Crash details

At 16:40 on October 20, a Toyota Yaris struck a city bus of line 153 at the intersection of Paderewski Street and Magenta Avenue in Rembertów, near house number 111. The collision occurred when the Toyota driver exited Magenta Avenue directly in front of the approaching bus.

Emergency response

Two fire‑fighting units, two ambulance teams and police were dispatched. First aid was rendered to two injured persons. Medical teams, reinforced by ambulance crews, transported a 14‑year‑old bus passenger and the car driver to a hospital.

Investigation underway

Police have documented the scene and taken photographs. The circumstances and precise sequence of events will be investigated in an explanatory proceeding.
