Police Arrest of Suspect
Warsaw police detained a man suspected of the Friday attempt to set fire to the Civic Platform headquarters. Earlier in May, 44‑year‑old Krzysztof B., a resident of Łosice County, was arrested for criminal threats against Prime Minister Donald Tusk. In June the case went to court with an indictment. The fire attempt occurred on 17 October at about 14:20, and witnesses report a Molotov cocktail was thrown toward the building.
