Further searches uncovered an unexplained trench on the estate, from which police recovered a buried body identified as the accused woman’s mother.

Kept Buried to Claim Pension and Welfare

Investigators determined that following her death, the couple interred the mother on their property to continue receiving pension and welfare benefits from victim‑support organisations.

Charges Filed Against Daughter

Authorities have now indicted the victim’s daughter in connection with the case.
