The 34th White Night of Love (WOŚP) on 25 January 2026 will channel funds into pediatric gastrointestinal care nationwide, with staff registration open until 17 November.
Goal of the 34th WOŚP Final
The 34th edition of WOŚP will focus on supporting pediatric gastroenterology. Founder Jerzy Owsiak said the topic was chosen after consultations with experts and doctors.
Expert in the field was Professor Jarosław Kierkuś of the Clinical Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Eating Disorders and Pediatrics Clinic at the Children’s Health Institute in Warsaw. He outlined current health issues and stated that 1.2–1.5 million children in Poland need help in this area.
The WOŚP board unanimously decided that treating gastrointestinal diseases in children would be an excellent goal. The foundation plans to purchase state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic and therapeutic equipment for hospitals nationwide.
Diseases Covered by the Support
The collection aims to aid children battling Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, chronic pancreatitis, stomach, liver and esophagus disorders, and eating disorders.
Gastrointestinal diseases also relate to nutrition, overweight, and obesity, so the foundation will also address the major problem of obesity, said Vice President Bohdan Maruszewski.
The aid will reach 16 gastroenterology clinics and other pediatric units. Funds will be used to buy endoscopic tools and ultrasound machines.
Event Date and Staff Registration
The 34th WOŚP final will take place on Sunday, 25 January 2026.
Staff registration runs until 17 November.
Nearly 1.7 thousand teams across the country and abroad will participate, involving about 120 thousand volunteers.
During a conference in Łódź, Owsiak announced that 38 specialist vehicles for pediatric hospices were purchased with money from the previous final.
