Car Collision Hits Bus in Ursynów; Two Hurt

A Toyota Prius carrying passengers collided with a stationary 192 bus on Rosolska Street at 5:15 p.m. on October 22, leaving two passengers hospitalized in Warsaw.

Accident Details

A driver of a Toyota Prius, delivering passengers for a ridesharing app, cut off the road at Rosolska Street heading toward Kabat and struck the left rear corner of a standing 192 bus at 5:15 p.m. on Oct 22. The collision involved the car’s right front corner slamming into the bus.

Police Findings

Preliminary police reports indicate the driver may have illegally bypassed the bus stop and was using a mobile phone in an unlawful manner at the time of the crash. The vehicle showed no signs of braking before impact. The driver was sober and possessed a valid driver’s licence.

Medical Response

Emergency services attended on scene and transported two occupants of the car to hospital. Both were reportedly in transit from the hospital back home when the crash occurred. Firefighters, police patrols and transit authorities were deployed at the scene.

Traffic Impact

Roadworks on Rosolska Street continue; one lane toward Kabat remains blocked. Transit authorities and maintenance crews are working to clear debris and restore traffic flow.
