Cemetery Service Schedule
From Saturday 25 to Sunday 26 October, Warsaw will operate special tram and bus routes to its largest cemeteries. Sunday trams will follow the Saturday timetable. These special services include tram lines C1, C4 and C6, as well as bus routes C09, C13 and C40.
Bus Line Adjustments
Several bus routes will have modified itineraries for the weekend. Line 173 will run a short‑distance service between 9:00 and 17:00 to the cemetery at Wawrze. Lines 500 and 727 will be extended to the Military and South Cemeteries respectively, while line 409 will serve the north cemetery gates. Additional stops such as C13 and 409 will open or close as listed.
Tram Line Adjustments
Tram operators will provide the following services: C1 from Annopol to the Wolski cemetery; C4 between Żerań‑Wschodnie and Wilanów, giving access to Bródnowski cemetery; and C6 from Żerań‑Wschodnie to Wolski cemetery, serving Bródnowski as well. All operate on a special timetable for the weekend.
Road Closures for Drivers
In the cemetery districts, traffic will be heavily restricted. Nocznickiego Street will be closed to all except Warsaw Transport public buses and vehicles entering the premises on Nocznickiego and Rokokowa. On Opłotek and Palisadowa, traffic will flow only from Wólczyńska toward Wóycickiego, accessible solely to buses, taxis, and vehicles with the H, T or M permits. Police will direct all movement.
Parking Restrictions
Parking inside the Military Cemetery on Powązki will be prohibited during the weekend. On other cemetery sites, cars are only allowed on designated parking spots; all other areas are closed. Drivers should seek alternative parking if required.
