Grading on National Education Commission Avenue: Roadworks, Access Restrictions and Bus Schedule Changes

Road crews will lay new asphalt on the National Education Commission Avenue between Wąwozowa and Iwanowa‑Szejnowicza Streets from 24 to 27 October, closing two‑way traffic and altering bus routes.

Roadwork Schedule

Grading will begin on Friday, 24 October at 20:00 and continue until Monday, 27 October at 04:00, as road crews lay new asphalt on the National Education Commission Avenue between Wąwozowa and Iwanowa‑Szejnowicza Streets.

Road Closures and Access Restrictions

During the works the avenue will be closed in both directions between Wąwozowa and Iwanowa‑Szejnowicza, as well as the Iwanowa‑Szejnowicza street exit from the bus loop. Drivers will have to detour to the other side of the island on a shuttle basis. The street Na Przyzbie will lose its connection to the avenue, and parking will be prohibited on the stretch toward Płaskowicka Street with towing at the owner’s expense.

Bus Route Adjustments

Bus lines 139, 166, 179, 239, 504, 710, 742, and night routes N34 and N37 will terminate at the intersection of National Education Commission Avenue and Wąwozowa Street, at metro stops Kabaty 01, 03 or 04. Line 192 will be shortened to end at Natolin metro station (stop 03), and night route N86 will serve the Natolin North loop near the round‑about where Płaskowicka Street meets the avenue.

Post‑Holiday Work Extension

After the All‑Saints Weekend, from 7 to 10 November, road crews will continue paving the avenue from Iwanowa‑Szejnowicza Street to the metro maintenance depot.
