Police confirmed that 16‑year‑old Joanna Cieplucha and 16‑year‑old Karol Szewczyk were last seen on 9 October in their hometowns of Koluszki and Borowa, respectively.
Joanna, 160 cm tall with dark shoulder‑length hair, was dressed in a black sleeveless top, dark tracksuit pants, a black padded jacket with a hood, and white ankle boots. Karol, 175 cm tall with dark‑blonde short hair, wore light tracksuit pants, a black jacket, and black sneakers.
Search for Teenagers from Koluszki
The investigation has expanded beyond Poland, with monitoring footage from the Czech Republic confirming that the teens were registered there. Officers are also focusing on Austria following reports that the youths may have moved to that area.
The International Police Cooperation Office coordinates these efforts with foreign law enforcement agencies, while the County Police Headquarters in Łódź‑Wschód monitors developments.
