On Oct. 20, police in Myślenice, Małopolska, halted a vehicle blocking cemetery access, discovering a sleeping driver, an unconscious naked woman, and various illegal drugs.
Unusual Police Intervention near Cemetery
On Monday morning, a report reached the Myślenice police station that a car was blocking an exit from the cemetery in nearby Harbutowice. A person attempting to drive away approached the vehicle to request the driver move it.
Inside, witnesses observed a man sleeping in the driver’s seat and a naked woman who showed no signs of life.
Medical and Police Response
After the man awakened, a commotion ensued while the woman remained unresponsive. Emergency services were summoned; firefighters and medical teams arrived first, followed by police.
Paramedics extracted the woman from the car and provided medical assistance. Law enforcement searched the vehicle, finding methamphetamine, mefedrone, and marijuana.
Drug Discovery and Arrests
The police detained the driver and the woman, both residents of the Soszynski County. They face charges for drug possession.
Legal Penalties for Drug Possession
Polish law categorizes drug possession as a criminal act, punishable by up to three years imprisonment; larger quantities can result in up to 10 years. In cases of smaller amounts, courts may impose fines, suspended sentences, or up to one year in prison.
