On Thursday, Oct. 23, the Central Anti‑Corruption Bureau detained the president and vice‑president of New Sancob at their homes.

Detention Details

Police arrested the officials shortly after 6:00 a.m. at their residences, informing them of the reasons for detention and taking steps to secure documents and personal items.

The detainees have not yet met with a prosecutor; prosecutors will decide on possible charges following their interrogation.

Jacek Dobrzyński, spokesperson for the minister coordinating special services, said the only information available was that the officials were apprehended, the procedural actions taken, and that no prosecutor meeting has occurred. He added that further details would follow soon.
