Incident Description
In the early afternoon, a patient at a medical office on Praga Północ confronted the attending doctor, preventing him from leaving the examination room. When the doctor refused to alter her medical record, she physically attacked him and clamped a stethoscope around his neck.
Police Response
Within minutes of the report, local police arrived, questioned the medical staff, and seized the patient. The doctor managed to free himself and immediately alerted nurses, who called for law enforcement.
Legal Charges
The patient has been charged with assaulting a public official, a crime punishable by up to three years’ imprisonment. The case is under the purview of the Warsaw – Praga Północ District Prosecutor’s Office.
