Accident Details
At about 16:50 on Thursday, a city bus route 189 crashed into a truck transporting an excavator at the intersection of Wołoska Street and Wilanowska Avenue. Reports indicate the truck’s driver turned right and struck the side of the bus when the vehicle could not fit into its lane.
Injuries
The collision injured seven people, four of whom were taken to hospital. The remaining three sustained less severe injuries.
Traffic Impact
Police and medical services reached the scene, and authorities urged drivers to bypass the area near Galeria Mokotów until cleanup was complete. Both vehicle drivers were reported to be sober.
