Land Rover Roof Collapses on Wola Tram Track

At 6:15 a.m. on Okopowa Street in Warsaw’s Wola district, a Land Rover veered onto the tram track, damaged barriers, and its roof collapsed.

Land Rover Hits Tram Track

At 6:15 a.m., a Land Rover left the lane on Okopowa Street at the intersection with Anielewicza and veered onto the tram track beside Wola Industrial Park, damaging barriers and causing the roof to collapse.

Occupants Flee

The driver and three passengers – two men and a woman – abandoned the vehicle and left the scene. Police are searching for them.

Tram Hits Bent Barriers

Minutes after the incident, tram line 22 struck the bent barriers, causing no injuries but shutting down tram traffic in both directions. Lines 1, 22 and 27 were diverted and services were restored around 8 a.m., with police, fire and tram crews on site.

Vehicle Towed

The vehicle was towed to a police parking lot.
