Tragic Crash Near Kielce Leaves Two Dead

A high‑speed collision on provincial road 751 near Wzdół‑Kolonia on October 25 at about 1 p.m. killed a 35‑year‑old Opel driver and a 29‑year‑old passenger.

On 25 October, roughly 13:00, a collision occurred on road 751 in the village of Wzdół‑Kolonia, Kielecki County, south of the city of Kielce.

Vehicles and traffic

The accident involved two passenger cars traveling together, totaling four occupants. The Opel was heading from Bodzentyn toward Suchedniow, while a Volvo was moving in the opposite direction.

Failure to control the car

According to police preliminary findings, the Opel driver, 35 years old, lost control of the vehicle. The car first struck a barrier, then veered onto the opposite lane and collided with the oncoming Volvo.

Fatalities

Both the Opel’s driver and its 29‑year‑old passenger died at the scene. The Volvo’s driver, a sober 49‑year‑old man, and the passenger were transported to the hospital.

Emergency response

Police, medical rescue teams, and the prosecutor’s office responded immediately to the scene. The roadway remains partially obstructed, and traffic may still be affected.
