In Lublin, a playground incident occurred on Saturday, October 25. An 11‑year‑old girl leapt from about two metres onto an inflatable pillow that turned out to be empty, causing her to hit the hard ground and sustain bodily injuries. A police spokesperson, Deputy Inspector Andrzej Fijołek, confirmed that she was transported to a hospital.
Police Investigation
Police initiated actions to investigate the possible danger presented to the child, citing Article 160(1) of the Criminal Code that penalizes placing a person at immediate risk of death or serious harm, punishable by up to three years in prison. Officers are currently determining the circumstances and interviewing witnesses.
