Warsaw Offers Free Sports Access 27–31 December

From 27 to 31 December, Warsaw residents holding a city or youth card can enter selected pools, gyms, ice rinks, and sports halls across the city without charge.

Free Access Dates and Eligibility

Between 27 and 31 December 2025, residents may use designated facilities free of charge if they possess a Warsaw Card or a Youth Warsaw Card. The offer is limited to specific entrance hours and to a single session per facility.

Districts Covered

The program spans almost every Warsaw district, including Śródmieście, Bemowo, Bielany, Praga‑Południe, Praga‑Północ, Ursynów, Wola, Wawer, Wilanów, Włochy, and Żoliborz. In each area, local sports centres and halls participate.

Facilities Included

Participants may access swimming pools, fitness rooms, ice rinks, and indoor sports halls. Each venue offers a free one‑session entry, usually allowing about 60 minutes in a pool or a scheduled visit to an ice rink.

Session Rules and Fees

After the free session, standard fees apply. Rentals such as skates or hockey sticks remain paid, and some facilities require prior booking for selected classes.

Operational Hours

Allowed entrance times vary by venue; these hours and additional conditions are posted by each sports centre before the event.
