13th Pension 2026: What is the net payment amount?
The thirteenth pension, known as the “Trzynastka,” is a guaranteed supplement for every pensioner and disability pensioner. Those entitled to benefits (such as pensions, pre-retirement benefits, or social pensions) as of March 31, 2026, qualify for this payment.
14th Pension 2026 and the “złotówka za złotówkę” principle
The fourteenth pension is support for seniors. Unlike the thirteenth pension, this benefit depends on income.
Care Allowance 2026 – New rate after indexation
This is one of the most popular benefits. It is granted to seniors who have turned 75 years old or are unable to live independently. In the first case, ZUS will automatically grant it.
Nursing Allowance for Those Requiring Support
This benefit can be received by seniors requiring third-party care regardless of family income, who have a significant degree of disability, a moderate degree of disability (if it occurred before the 21st year of life). Retirees over 75 years of age do not need a disability certificate to receive the nursing allowance.
Supporting Benefit After Indexation Up to 4352.7 zł
The supporting benefit is paid to adults with disabilities. It is paid depending on the level of need. The lowest supporting benefit until the end of February 2026 is 751.6 zł. Meanwhile, the highest is 4133.6 zł. After indexation, these amounts will increase.
Free Medicines for Seniors 65+
The free medicines program for seniors already covers nearly 3800 preparations. To benefit, three conditions must be met:
The list includes medicines for hypertension, diabetes, heart diseases, as well as painkillers and selected vaccines.
Housing Allowance for Seniors and Area Limits
Seniors can apply for a housing allowance. The decision is based on the right to property (e.g., rental agreement), income from the last 3 months, and the area of the apartment.
Important! Slight exceeding of the area limit is permissible. For people with disabilities, the limit increases by 15 m².
