33rd Welconomy Forum in Toruń: Security First…

The 33rd Welconomy Forum in Toruń convenes with “Security First” theme, bringing together 2,000 participants for socio-economic discussions.

Jubilee Year and Organization

In 2026, the Welconomy Forum in Toruń will celebrate a special jubilee – 25 years in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Region. The co-hosts of this important socio-economic congress are the Marshal of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship and the Toruń City Municipality.

Honorary Patrons

Honorary patronage over the forum was taken by: Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz – Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defense; Miłosz Motyka – Minister of Energy; Marcin Kulasek – Minister of Science and Higher Education; and Stefan Krajewski – Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Forum Theme and Security Focus

Welconomy is two days of intense debates guided by dialogue and development. The slogan of this year’s forum is: “First and foremost, security…”. Security debates will cover many fields, from national through social and individual security. Key areas include military, energy, cybersecurity, economic and financial security, as well as ecological and social security.

Participants and Scope

The Welconomy Forum in Toruń is a unique event attended by about 2,000 people. Among them are entrepreneurs, foreign guests, politicians, journalists, scientists, experts, specialists in various fields, representatives of public administration, local government, and both public and private universities.

Event Schedule

The inauguration of Welconomy will take place on February 23rd at 10:00 AM in the Concert Hall of the Jordanki Cultural and Congress Center, after which the discussions will move to the space of the Copernicus Hotel Toruń.

Discussion Platform

The XXXIII socio-economic congress Welconomy Forum in Toruń, organized by the “Integration and Cooperation” Association, provides a space for discussing key challenges facing the economy, state and society in a dynamically changing world. The debates will feature business leaders, politicians, scientists, local government officials, experts, practitioners from home and abroad, and journalists addressing contemporary economic challenges and opportunities.
