In the morning hours, two passenger cars collided on Al. Krakowska in Stefanów, Piaseczno district. The 40‑year‑old Skoda driver entered the intersection at a red signal, causing a rear‑end impact with a vehicle heading toward Warsaw.
Police Statement
According to the Piaseczno Police Headquarters, a red light is “not a suggestion but an absolute order to stop.” They warned that drivers who ignore the rules endanger themselves and others.
The officers noted that both drivers were sober and possessed valid licences, and fortunately nobody was injured.
Legal Outcome
The 40‑year‑old driver received a fine and was assigned 15 penalty points on her licence, as required by Polish traffic law.
