Seniors in Świnoujście have until May 29, 2026, to apply for the “Bon Wyspiarza Seniora,” a 400 PLN one-time payment designed to assist older residents with rising living costs.
Financial Support for Seniors
Increasing prices and rising bills have led more retirees to seek ways to supplement their budgets. The “Bon Wyspiarza Seniora” provides a one-time payment of 400 PLN to help combat the cost of living.
Funds are intended to reach beneficiaries’ accounts within a few weeks, providing immediate relief for daily expenses.
Eligibility and Requirements
The program, established by the Świnoujście local government, is available to older residents of the city who meet three basic conditions.
Officials emphasize that official registration (meldunek) is not mandatory; instead, the applicant’s actual place of residence must be confirmed.
Application Deadline
Applications have been accepted since March, but the window is closing. The final deadline to complete formalities is May 29, 2026.
After this date, the current edition of the program will close, and those who have not applied will lose the opportunity for financial support.
Increased Benefit Amount
The current edition of the program features an increased rate. While seniors received 350 PLN in 2025, the amount has been raised to 400 PLN this year.
These additional funds are intended to help residents pay for medication, utility bills, and everyday shopping.
Payment Terms
The benefit is issued exclusively via bank transfer. The city announces that payments will be processed within a maximum of three months following the approval of the application.
