66-Year-Old Man Prompts Panic in Kłobuck – Counter-Terrorists Called In

A 66-year-old man in Kłobuck holding what appeared to be a weapon caused police to call in counter-terrorists to resolve the situation.

Police Confrontation

Police received a report at approximately 1:35 PM on Sunday, August 31st, about a man standing in the window of a home on Mickiewicz Street in Kłobuck near Częstochowa, reportedly holding what resembled a firearm.

Counter-Terrorist Intervention

After negotiations failed, police called in counter-terrorism forces from the Special Unit for Countering Terrorism in Katowice. The team surrounded the house, cut off exits, and forcibly entered the residence, shattering windows and firing flash-bang grenades.

66-Year-Old Suspect Detained

The 66-year-old man was apprehended, and a weapon resembling a firearm was seized and turned over for further investigation. Investigators are working to determine what type of weapon it is, whether it was legally possessed, and whether the man’s actions posed a threat to others.
