Zełenski on Orders for Russian Forces
In an evening address, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski disclosed that Ukrainian intelligence has no evidence the Russian troops have received orders to prepare for a ceasefire. He revealed an intelligence report and military command assessment showing what Putin expects and what he is truly preparing for. “Russia is definitely not preparing for a ceasefire or the end of the war,” he said. “Putin is determined to present a meeting with the United States as a personal victory and then proceed exactly as before, exerting the same pressure on Ukraine that he has been doing.” He added that nothing up to now indicates the Russians have received any signals indicating the need to prepare for a post‑war situation. On the contrary, they are regrouping their forces to suggest preparations for new offensive operations. Kyiv is informing its partners about the real battlefield situation, diplomacy and future Russian plans.
