After midnight, a woman who could not locate a friend called the police. According to RMF FM, she had gone on a date with a 28‑year‑old man she met online and planned to spend the night at the MOSiR hotel.

Call Received After Midnight

The on‑duty officer in Wolsztyn received the call from the woman shortly after midnight. She reported an inability to contact a friend regarding an outing that had involved a stranger met via the internet.

Police Statement

Upon arrival, officers found in the hotel room the bodies of a 25‑year‑old Wolsztyn resident and a 28‑year‑old man from Warsaw,” stated Staff Officer Maciej Borowski of the Wolsztyn County Police Command, as quoted by poznan.tvp.pl.

28‑Year‑Old Not Saved

The man had multiple cuts on his forearms. He was taken to hospital but could not be saved. The services are investigating the circumstances of the tragedy.
