City of Warsaw operates two distinct “Chopin-themed” trams, a modern livery tram running until Oct 23 and an older piano‑equipped tram with live recitals until Oct 12, both serving the capital’s streets.
Tram with special livery – until 23 October
This regular, line‑based set of Warsaw Public Transport is dressed in a special graphic livery referencing the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition. The city hall says the tram will operate through the capital until Thursday, 23 October, with its line subject to change according to traffic demands. Promotional colors and piano‑key motifs highlight Warsaw’s role in the competition and encourage passengers to attend accompanying events. Its route, line and location can be monitored live.
Tram with live music – 6–12 October
Independent of the livery, an older‑type tram equipped with a piano runs daily until Sunday, 12 October. During the ride, brief recitals of Chopin music alternate with lectures by a Warsaw expert about the capital and the places visited en route. The route is one‑way and spans: Zajezdnia Wola (Zajezdnia Wola 03 toward Okopowa) – Wolska – Towarowa – Aleje Jerozolimskie – al. Zieleniecka – Targowa – al. “Solidarności” – Wolska – Skierniewicka. The journey takes about 50 minutes.

Organizers of musical rides
The City of Warsaw, in cooperation with Warsaw Public Transport and Warsaw Trams, organizes the musical rides as part of the program accompanying the ongoing Chopin Competition, blending daily transport with cultural offerings. The musical tram departs only from the stop near Zajezdnia Wola and ends at Skierniewicka stop.
