Marcin B., a PiS councilor in Lębork, was arrested on 23 August after driving a vehicle with more than two promille of alcohol and colliding with a parked car.

The collision occurred on 23 August in Lębork. Marcin B. allegedly intended to hit a parked car and then leave the scene. Police were able to stop him later.
Alleged Alcohol Level
It was reported that B. had over two promille of alcohol in his bloodstream, with some outlets citing a level as high as 2.5 promille.
Councilor’s Response
Following media coverage, Marcin B. apologized for his conduct, announced his resignation as vice‑chairman of the council, and stated he would present “important personal circumstances” to the relevant authorities. He was subsequently removed from the Law and Justice party.
Legal Consequences
B. faced charges of driving under the influence. He was fined 2,500 złoty and received ten penalty points. In early September, he was stripped of his vice‑chairmanship of the Lębork County council.
