Multiple Collisions on Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue: Drivers Strike Barriers and Lamp

On the morning of Saturday, 11 October, three separate crashes involving cars and a truck occurred on Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue in Wola, with drivers hitting barriers and a street lamp but no casualties.

First Incident – 6:30 AM, Obozowa

At about 6:30 AM on the Obozowa section of Prymasa Tysiąclecia Avenue, the driver of a personal Audi lost control, struck a crash barrier, and no injuries were reported.

Second Incident – 8:27 AM, S8 Corridor

Another collision at 8:27 AM near the S8 route had the driver of a Mazda collide with an energy-absorbing barrier, again with no casualties.

Third Incident – 9:11 AM, Obozowa

The driver of a Toyota, slipping on the same Obozowa section, hit a street lamp; the crash resulted in no injuries.

Current Traffic Impact

One traffic lane on the Obozowa section toward the S8 route remains blocked. Police and road services are clearing the scene and removing wreckage.

Additional Incident – Wisłostrada Entrance

At the entrance from Wisłostrada onto the Łazienkowska Route, a Honda driver slipped and was caught on the cable barriers, causing delays toward Ochota.

Police Response

All involved drivers were sober, and authorities are issuing fines. Police have urged motorists to adjust speed to road conditions.
