A collision involving five vehicles occurred on the S8 at the height of Powązkowska Street in Żoliborz. The incident triggered immediate traffic disruptions and blocked two lanes northbound toward Marek.

Four Injured, 14 Passengers Total

Four individuals were taken to hospitals after emergency teams attended the scene. A total of 14 passengers were traveling across the involved cars and a delivery van.

Emergency Response Operations

Three fire‑brigade units (two APoż and one JRG 2) and a city operational officer secured the site. Three medical rescue teams also attended, while police from the Road Traffic Department proceeded to investigate causes and circumstances.

Road Closure and Traffic Impact

Two lanes heading toward Marek remain blocked. Drivers are advised to expect significant delays and reduced speed along the entire affected section.
