The remaining 250 prisoners, all sentenced to life, will be transported to the West Bank, Jerusalem, and ultimately deported abroad.

Hamas Transfers Israeli Hostages to Red Cross

Earlier that morning, Hamas handed over all surviving Israeli hostages to the International Committee of the Red Cross.

Details of the Release Operation

The release process began at 7:00 Polish time and lasted just over two hours. Twenty individuals were handed to security services and moved to Israeli territory, receiving medical and psychological help.

The Israeli Defense Forces posted, “We waited 738 days to say this: Finally they are home!” on their official profile.
