Four Bodies Found Near Grzybowska in Warsaw – Police Claim Breakthrough

In April 2024, police discovered four men’s bodies inside an abandoned building at 71 Grzybowska Street, Warsaw, after arresting a 34‑year‑old Ukrainian on the second floor.

New Prosecution Findings

According to prosecutor Piotr Skiba of Warsaw, it was established that 35‑year‑old Ivan R., acting with intent to kill, murdered an unidentified man whose corpse was found at 71 Grzybowska Street. Investigation found that Ivan R. inflicted numerous blows and kicks causing internal injuries that led to death, and he is also alleged to have beaten another man known as “Ryży”. The suspect was arrested by German police in Bavaria in May 2025, extradited, and placed in investigative detention.

Four Bodies in the Building

In April 2024, police entered an abandoned building at 71 Grzybowska Street and found four male bodies: one buried in the basement, one in the attic, and two hidden under mattresses and sleeping bags. The arrest of a 34‑year‑old Ukrainian citizen took place on the second floor; he had been standing on the stairwell outside the apartment door, intoxicated, and complied with the officers without resistance, as reported by the Metropolitan Police Command and TVN Warsaw.

Charges in the Case

So far the status of suspects has been assigned to at least eleven persons. Two individuals, Andriej S. and Ion B., have been charged with murder.
