Rydzyk Foundation Receives Record Tax Support, Grows Stronger

In 2024 the Rydzyk Foundation, linked to Tadeusz Rydzyk, received PLN 8,057,385.17—its highest tax donation yet—boosting its charitable work across Poland.

The Polish Ministry reported that the foundation received exactly PLN 8,057,385.17 from income‑tax contributions, a 1.5 % allocation that rose from 1 % in previous years. This level surpasses the PLN 6.5 million it garnered in 2023 and the PLN 3.8 million collected in 2022, indicating a steady increase in its “revenues.”

Foundation’s Activities and Focus

Founded in 1995, the Rydzyk Foundation supports the spiritual and intellectual development of children and youth, shaping character and patriotic attitudes. It funds education, particularly the Higher School of Social Culture and Media in Toruń, promotes Polish culture and national heritage, and provides material aid to students and victims of natural disasters. The organization also assists people with disabilities and local communities.

Other Top Charity Donations in 2024

Poles contributed PLN 2,278,731,770.58 to charitable organisations. The Rydzyk Foundation ranked 34th among 9,213 recipients. The largest donors were the Foundation for Children “Help on Time” with PLN 375,118,495.92, SiePomaga with PLN 199,288,801.33, and Avalon with PLN 108,211,323.10.

Tax Donation Rules Since 2022

Since 2022, the tax allocation for charitable foundations has been set at 1.5 % of taxpayers’ income‑tax, up from 1 % in earlier years.
