Krzysztof B., Arrested by Warsaw Police, Set To Face Prosecutor Charges

Krzysztof B., a 44‑year‑old Warsaw resident, who tried to set fire to a building at 12A Wiejska Street on Friday, will be brought before the Warsaw Śródmieście District Prosecutor’s Office next week.

Incident and Arrest

On Friday at about 14:20, 44‑year‑old Krzysztof B. attempted to ignite a building at 12A Wiejska Street. He was arrested by officers from the Capital Police Command and the Warsaw I Police District Command at his home in Łosice County.

Police Response

The swift apprehension was the result of intense operational work by officers from several departments, triggered by a detailed analysis of related incidents.

He will be presented to the Warsaw Śródmieście District Prosecutor’s Office, where the prosecutor will review evidence and determine the legal charge applicable to the act.

In May of this year, Krzysztof B. was detained for criminally threatening former Prime Minister Donald Tusk on the X platform. The case was brought to court in June with an indictment.
