Collision at UN Roundabout
In the afternoon, an ambulance collided with an Audi passenger car at the UN Roundabout in central Warsaw. The crash abruptly halted traffic, temporarily blocking two lanes and part of the tram track.
No Injuries Reported
Medical personnel and the patient on board were unharmed. The ambulance crew continued patient care, which was immediately transferred to another ambulance en route to a medical facility.
Traffic Management and Dispatch
The Warsaw Road Management Authority (WRD) cleared the incident, sealing off two traffic lanes. Ambulance movement resumed after the crew and transport team coordinated a smooth handover.
Tram Service Disruption
Technical issues forced suspensions on tram lines 17, 19, and 33. Trams were rerouted through detour routes, affecting the Al. Jana Pawła II – Al. Solidarności – Okopowa – Rondo “Radosława” corridor.
