A scooter rider was hit by a concrete mixer in Ząbkach (Vołomino County) on Radzymińska Street before noon, leaving the rider hospitalized and blocking two traffic lanes.

In the morning on Radzymińska Street in Ząbkach, near the intersection with Wolności Street, a concrete mixer of the ‘gruszka’ type struck a scooter, causing the rider to tumble onto the road. The collision occurred approximately 70 m before the intersection with Wolności.
Emergency response
Firefighters, medical rescue teams and police officers arrived at the scene, secured the area and transported the injured rider to a hospital. Police are investigating the incident to determine exact causes and circumstances.
Traffic disruption
As a result of the crash, two lanes of traffic heading towards Marek were blocked. Both drivers were reported sober.
