Weather Turn on All Saints’ Day, Temperatures Spike

Polish weather forecasts predict an unusually warm first of November, with temperatures between 8 °C and 18 °C, while the following days bring further heat, wind, and rain.

Weather on All Saints’ Day

According to predictive models, the first day of November should be exceptionally warm—temperatures could range from 8 °C to 18 °C. The sky will be mostly cloudy, but wind will be light. The second day may even reach 20 °C, with gusty wind primarily over the sea and in the mountains, says IMGW press officer and synoptist Agnieszka Prasek. As synoptists point out, forecasts with such long lead times can still change significantly.

What will the weather be the following days?

Before November begins, October’s last weekend is forecasted by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management to be “cloudy, rainy, windy and cool.” On Saturday, sporadic clearings will appear in the southeast, with sporadic showers and thunderstorms, while snow is possible in the mountains. Temperatures will be between 8 °C and 11 °C. Sunday will be slightly milder, with a maximum of 9 °C to 14 °C.

Where do Poles seek better weather?

Data from eSky.pl show that Poles increasingly travel south in November to chase sunshine. Jan Grabczak of eSky.pl notes that November is one of the most favorable times to escape the so‑called autumn chill. The Mediterranean islands—Malta, Cyprus, and Sicily—are November’s hit; temperatures around 22 °C to 24 °C are still to be expected. Polish tourists also choose Turkey, Morocco, and increasingly long‑haul destinations such as Thailand and Mexico. Attractive offers are also available in Italian Catania, where accommodation costs can be 30–40 % lower than peak season.
