On Tuesday, 21 October at about 21:20, Sochaczew traffic police stopped a motor‑scooter driver for a routine check. The 25‑year‑old was found intoxicated, with a blood alcohol level of 0.0 g/100 ml.
License Violations and Vehicle Issues
The scooter lacked valid liability insurance, the VIN did not match registry data, and the driver had no motorcycle license. Authorities discovered the rider had mounted a license plate belonging to a different vehicle.
Drug Discovery
While the scooter was removed from the road at the owner’s expense, police found amphetamine on the vehicle. A search of the suspect’s residence uncovered over 50 g of marijuana.
Legal Charges and Possible Sentencing
The suspect is charged with driving under the influence, using an unregistered plate, and possessing a large quantity of drugs. He could face up to ten years in prison.
