Parents were invited to a birthday party and arrived for about ten minutes. The daughter stepped onto a jumping surface, intending to land on a foam pillow that was not inflated. She fell onto a concrete and wooden base, a hard surface, and lost consciousness.
Medical Condition
Doctors confirmed fractures in at least eight vertebrae, including the lumbar and thoracic spinal segments. She sustained significant lung bruising and damage to pulmonary tissue.
Owner’s Statement
