Drunken Customer Threatens Ukrainian Woman at Warsaw Gas Station

Yesterday, a 38‑year‑old intoxicated man at a gas station in Warsaw’s Praga Północ district threatened a Ukrainian employee, was arrested, and faces up to three years in prison.

The Alarming Encounter

A Ukrainian employee working at a gas station in Praga Północ was frightened by two drunk customers. When one of them slipped an energy drink into his pocket, a quarrel erupted.

During the argument, the 38‑year‑old man made the remark, “…you’ll see, I still will throw you out….” The employee immediately called the security guard, and patrol officers escorted both men out of the shop.

Police Intervention

After the employee reported the incident, police officers took the 38‑year‑old man into custody. They informed her of the legal steps that would follow and a 47‑year‑old woman filed a formal complaint in the case.

Police officers at the station tested the suspect’s blood alcohol level with a breathalyzer, which returned 2.5‰.

Legal Outcome

Yesterday, a police investigator presented the suspect with a charge of making criminal threats against a Ukrainian citizen. He faces a potential sentence of up to three years’ imprisonment.

The case is supervised by the Warsaw‑Praga North District Prosecutor’s Office, with the investigation carried out by the RKP VI – Białołęka, Praga Północ, Targówek police unit.
