On Sunday, 9 November, Czech police pursued a suspected stolen Volkswagen Transporter into Poland, where Silesian officers intercepted the vehicle and detained two Czech men aged 30 and 36.

Sunday, 9 November, Czech police began a pursuit of a Volkswagen Transporter believed to have been stolen. When the vehicle crossed the Polish border, Polish forces joined the operation. Officers from the Road Police Division of KPP in Racibórz were involved, according to a statement from the Katowice Provincial Police Headquarters posted on social media.

Polish officers from Racibórz and Wodzisław Śląski participated in the pursuit. The vehicle was stopped by a traffic police patrol using a local radio call at the town of Odra, subordinate to the Wodzisław Śląski County Police Headquarters, per spokesman Paweł Malcharczyk in remarks to TVN24.

Two Czech Citizens Detained

Police blocked the road to stop the fleeing vehicle. Inside the carriage were two Czech nationals, aged 30 and 36, who were subsequently apprehended. This incident further confirms that cross‑border cooperation produces real results and enables effective response regardless of location and circumstances, a statement read in the official release.
