Polish city wardens in Warsaw’s Wola district traced and caught a waste‑dumping offender at Białowiejka Street, enforcing the law and restoring the area.
Discovery of Waste Pile
During routine patrols in the Wola district, city wardens noticed a large stack of garbage bags near Białowiejka Street. An initial inspection revealed that the pile comprised not only domestic trash but also commercial waste.
Evidence Leads to Suspect
The wardens collected items and documents from the rubbish, which enabled them to trace the individual responsible for the littering.
Offender Punished and Waste Cleaned
Under article 145 of the Polish Code of Offences, the identified offender was penalised and ordered to immediately remove the waste, which he did. The penalty imposed was a fine of at least 500 PLN.
Post‑Action Inspection Confirms Restoration
Upon completion, the wardens reconducted a site inspection to confirm that the area had been restored, finding that the street was clear and remained clean.
