Prime Minister Donald Tusk published a post on Monday, November 10, referencing Poland’s upcoming National Independence Day. He described the nation as “democratic and rule‑based, strong in its economy and armed forces, rooted in European and Western civilisation, solidary with Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, proud and secure—this is our independence today.”
What to Expect on November 11
The celebrations of National Independence Day will begin early Tuesday morning, November 11. At 8 a.m., Karol Nawrocki will lay wreaths before the monuments of the Fathers of Independence—Wincenty Witos, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Ignacy Daszyński, Roman Dmowski, Wojciech Korfanty, and Marshal Józef Piłsudski.
At 9 a.m., a Mass for the Fatherland will be held. Later, at 10:30 a.m., a ceremony at the Presidential Palace will award state decorations.
