“No, it was Jarosław Kaczyński, that’s enough,” said Marcin Mastalerek on RMF FM when asked whether he had attended Tuesday’s Independence March in Warsaw. He recalled that in 2015 Kaczyński had removed him from the presidential campaign list and told him, “either me or you.” Mastalerek replied that he could not attend the march because Kaczyński had made that claim.

President Kaczyński was Completely Untrustworthy

Mastalerek said, “President Kaczyński was utterly unreliable.” He added that President Karol Nawrocki had taken over the political discourse and that Kaczyński’s presence at the march went largely unnoticed. He accused Kaczyński of being out of touch with both the government and the media.

In an interview with TV Republika during the march, Kaczyński said, “I am very satisfied, and I have been here before.” He warned of the internal and external threats to Poland, the destruction of democracy and rule of law, and alleged plans to eliminate Polish sovereignty. He called for bringing together people of diverse views who still consider Poland important.
