National Security Support Network
The operation involved officers from the State Protection Service, City Guard, Military Gendarmerie, and additional forces dispatched from other regions by the Chief of Police, in close coordination with the Warsaw Security Office and event organizers.
Preventive Measures and Threat Elimination
Proactive actions were taken to pre‑empt potential dangers, focusing on eliminating risks before they could materialize at gatherings and ceremonies.
Arrests and Seizures in the City Center
In the city center there were 41 arrests: 26 involving drug possession, 10 wanted persons—one listed in the Schengen Information System—three for combat involvement, and one for violating the Aviation Law. Dangerous items were also taken from suspects.
Community Assistance and First Aid
Under the principle “We help and protect,” officers assisted seniors, directed traffic, guided pedestrians, and administered first aid in situations requiring medical attention.
Enforcement of Pyrotechnics Ban
Following the Masovian Voivode’s regulation banning fireworks, police intervened against 91 persons before 9 p.m., seizing 819 pyrotechnic devices in the capital’s city center.
