Polish police secured documents signed by Szymon Hołowni in Otwock on Thursday, per prosecutors’ instructions.
Police Action in Otwock
On Thursday, officers entered the Otwock city office in the afternoon under orders from the National Prosecutor’s Office. They collected several ledgers bearing Hołowni’s signatures.
Prosecutor Seeks Authenticity Test
The National Prosecutor’s Office requested handwriting experts to verify whether Hołowni’s signatures in the seized documents match those in the Collegium Humanum case files.
Documents Handed Over to Expert
After the Otwock mayor refused to hand the originals, the prosecutor ordered their release, and the mayor voluntarily provided the materials on November 13 without a search.
Hołowni’s Alleged Links to Collegium Humanum
Newsweek last year named Hołowni among students of Collegium Humanum, though he has denied attending the institution.
College’s Dubious Reputation
The college, founded in 2018, has been described by media as a “diploma factory,” granting MBA degrees to high‑profile officials and party activists.
Ongoing Investigation
In June, the National Prosecutor’s Office noted 72 people faced a total of 372 charges related to Collegium Humanum, including accusations against the former rector, Paweł Cz.
