On November 14, 100 days after President Karol Nawrocki’s inauguration, opposition leader Jarosław Kaczyński praised his performance and criticized former PM Donald Tusk’s government.
Kaczyński Commends Nawrocki After 100 Days
On Friday, November 14, the 100th day of President Karol Nawrocki’s term, Jarosław Kaczyński posted on X that the president has fulfilled promises and given Poles hope to halt the so‑called “evil” of the tuskian government. He added that Nawrocki is an active international actor whose guidance is always the interest of the homeland.
Opinion Poll Shows Majority Approval
The daily *Rzeczpospolita* reported results from an IBRiS poll carried out in the same week. Between 55.8 % and 30.8 % of respondents rated the first 100 days of Nawrocki positively, while 13.4 % expressed no opinion. Political‑marketing expert Mirosław Oczkoś noted that sustained image work has benefited Nawrocki, who did not “sleep under a chandelier” during his first months.
Critics Warn of Growing Tensions
Gazeta.pl journalist Marta Rawicz described the past 100 days as difficult for the ruling coalition, especially for former premier Donald Tusk. She reported that Nawrocki aims to “stick a stick into an anthill”, provoking the prime minister and Minister Żuk, thereby playing with Poland’s security, according to Poland 2050 boss Paweł Śliz. Former science minister Dariusz Wieczorek of the Left said Nawrocki “does not understand the role of president”, urging him to seek compromise instead of fueling a “Polish‑Polish war.”
