Rapid Response to Drunk Man
At 9 p.m. last Sunday, guards received an urgent call that ambulance staff were waiting for a drunk man on Kawęczyńska Street. They arrived within ten minutes, and rescuers reported the man’s aggressive behavior after waking him from the grass.
Evidence of Intoxication and Aggression
Strong alcohol odor, slurred speech, and shuffling gait confirmed the man’s intoxication. His condition posed a danger to himself and pedestrians on the busy street.
Search Reveals Knife, Marijuana, and Suspicious Pills
Before placing him in the restraint compartment, officers inspected for dangerous tools. The man became more aggressive, refusing to remove his hands from his pockets. Handcuffs were applied, and officers found a 15‑cm retractable knife, five marijuana buds, and seven white tablets in a foil pouch.
Police Takeover and Custody
Police were summoned; items were secured, and the man was transported in the van. When the police arrived, guards handed over the detainee and the seized substances.
