Trump Yells “Silence” at Bloomberg Reporter on Air Force One, Stops Epstein Question

On Oct. 18, President Trump interrupted Bloomberg journalist Jennifer Jacobs on Air Force One, ordering her to be quiet before she could finish a question about Epstein’s files.

Unexpected Trump Reaction

On October 18, President Donald Trump aboard Air Force One was answering journalists’ questions when Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Jacobs attempted to ask about the release of Jeffrey Epstein documents. Before she could finish, Trump interrupted her with, “Silence! Quiet, little angel!” and pointed toward her. The incident sparked a heated online debate. A White House spokesperson said the reporter behaved inappropriately and unprofessionally toward colleagues on the plane.

Trump Changes Stance on Epstein Files

Earlier, Trump expressed support for releasing additional Jeffrey Epstein documents and urged Republicans in the House to approve the public disclosure. The post appeared on his social‑network site Truth Social. Last week, a set of Epstein’s emails surfaced, showing the financier’s alleged knowledge of Trump’s association with Epstein’s sexual misconduct. One email claims the convicted financier said Trump spent hours with an Epstein victim at his mansion.

Trump Calls for Investigation into Epstein Connections

In response to documents indicating Trump’s close ties with Epstein, Trump said he would direct Attorney General Pam Bondi to investigate connections between prominent Democrats and the former sex offender. He criticized Democrats for exploiting the “Epstein mystique” to distract from their failures, especially the recently closed budget impasse. Trump also requested investigations into figures such as former President Bill Clinton, former Treasury Secretary Lawrence Summers, LinkedIn co‑founder Reid Hoffman, and JP Morgan Chase.
