Weather forecasters from the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management predict intense snowfall from Sunday, November 23, to Monday morning in several Polish counties. In Podlaskie (Bielsk, Hajnówka, Siemiatycze), eastern Masovian, Lublin, eastern Subcarpathian, northern Lesser Poland, and most of Świętokrzyskie, 10–15 cm of snow could fall within 12 hours, or 15–20 cm within 24 hours. Emergency warnings may be issued for residents in these areas.

Saturdays will be cloudy across most of Poland; only the west and northwest will have light to moderate cloud cover. Maximum temperatures will range from –3 °C to +1 °C nationwide, with cooler conditions of about –4 °C in the foothills of the Carpathians. Winds will be weak generally, moderate along the coast from northerly and easterly directions, and occasionally southerly in the northwest. Forecasters warned of early‑morning fog that could reduce visibility to 200 m in some locales.
Firefighting Interventions
By Sunday, November 23, local brigades logged 1,231 calls for assistance following intense snow in southern Poland, with 728 incidents in Subcarpathian terrain, 423 in Lesser Poland, and 69 in Lublin. The previous day in the Subcarpathian region alone, over 500 interventions were required. Most reports involved clearing broken trees and branches from roads, sidewalks, and power lines. No injuries were reported.
